In this contemporary architectural lines apartment, the Atelier Lígia Casanova Team created an ethnic environment with a matching concept and project design. The goal was to provide a magical and cozy atmosphere for the family's Christmas dinner, incorporating color and a Scandinavian touch.
The design team took care of every detail, using materials such as wool, felt, linen, ethnic furniture, metal, velvet, ceramic, and glass. The result is a unique and inviting space that reflects the family's love for Christmas.
This duplex apartment, located at 26 Prior Street, Lisbon, spans 180 m2. The lower level features the living and dining room, kitchen, and guest bathroom, while the upper level houses three rooms with private bathrooms.
The project was commissioned in October 2013 and delivered by the end of November 2013. It was recognized as one of the five projects selected for the Andrew Martin Awards in 2015.
The design team faced the challenge of creating an ethnic Christmas atmosphere. They immersed themselves in the true Scandinavian Christmas spirit, incorporating the colors, materials, fabrics, furniture style, and decorations associated with this festive season. Additionally, they paid attention to creating a child-friendly atmosphere, considering the presence of two children in the family.
In summary, this contemporary architectural apartment successfully combines an ethnic environment with a Christmas spirit. The attention to detail and the incorporation of Scandinavian elements create a cozy and inviting atmosphere for the family to enjoy their Christmas dinner.
